Biography
Dr. Robaayah Zambahari is known for her extensive experience in cardiology, both locally and internationally. Dr Robaayah is CEO and managing director of the National Heart Institute (IJN) in 2009. She pursued medicine at University of Malaya in 1977 and received speciality training at the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia. She was appointed senior consultant cardiologist and head of department at IJN in 1992. She is a member of Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow, the Royal College of Physicians of London, and the American College of Cardiology, Emeritus member of the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology , FAPSIC, October 2006, Member of the National Heart Association of Malaysia, Member of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology.
